Story

When the Great Silence fell and the fires of the old world went out, most surrendered to the cold. But there was one who refused to extinguish. They did not pray for a new sun; they reached into the dying pyre of the gods and grabbed the last flame with their bare hands.

This was the first act of the Saint: the refusal to let the light end. They chose the pain of the burn over the peace of the dark.

Now, the Saint wanders the grey wastes—a world turned entirely to ash. They are a walking contradiction, a living relic of persistence. Where they walk, the ash beneath their feet doesn’t just scatter—it begins to hum.
